We are bird watchers. You will often find us running from the front to the back to look out windows to catch a glimpse of a bird. Blue Jays, Cardinals and Woodpeckers are my very favorite with Hummingbirds coming in at a close second. But really I love all birds. And we see all kinds in our yard. Because we live within blocks from a Botanical Garden and Nature Center we think many of the unusual birds may just be from there. We'll take them! We feel blessed to have them visit our yard.
This week we have seen some new
faces feathers around our yard. A pair of Rose-Breasted Grosbeak showed up Wednesday. Their color caught my eye quickly so I grabbed my camera.
It seems they enjoy the back as well as the front yard feeder. Each day they came around I was able to get closer........
And closer!
